Challenge

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is a spectacular production playing in Melbourne's historic Princess Theatre. Brand Catalyser was tasked to spread the word and help garner more attention to the performing arts scene in Melbourne from diverse audiences. Melbourne's theater culture is rich with different forms of entertainment, we aimed to get foreign audiences to take part and enjoy the shows that Melbourne has to offer.

Strategy

Brand Catalyser invited several KOLs to come and see the show so they can get a first-hand experience of watching Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.

The KOLs also got a peak behind the curtain and met the cast of the show. This event enabled them to get to know the actors who are responsible for portraying these iconic characters.

Solution

By organizing invitations to KOLs and getting them in to see the play, we were able to help spread the word and introduce Melbourne's theatre culture to foreign audiences. 

We utilized the influence of KOLs as well as their honest opinions to get more people involved in the performing arts through this event. We hope that more people will discover and enjoy the various theater shows that are available in Melbourne.
