Uncorking Success: Wine Victoria Satellite Event in Shanghai

The success of this event owes much to the strong partnership between our team and Wine Victoria, the driving force behind the participation of the wineries. Wine Victoria’s support was critical in ensuring that the event was not only an exhibition of fine wines but also an opportunity for business growth and international expansion. Their expertise and commitment helped forge a connection between Victoria’s winemakers and potential business partners from the Chinese wine industry.

One of the main challenges leading up to the event was curating a list of relevant and high-calibre buyers for the trade tasting. With so many wine events happening in China, it was crucial to ensure that our buyers were not only interested in exploring new wines but also keen on establishing lasting business relationships. To overcome this challenge, we engaged deeply with our local industry partners and leveraged our own networks to personally invite the right buyers. This outreach led to us contacting 300 potential participants, from which nearly 100 attended the event, a testament to the effectiveness of this targeted approach.
